this is absolutely awesome. i discussed doing this exact thing a few weeks back but now i don't have to worry about it π thank you!
Please use mill. If it's broken, contrib and fix! I think every option works... Mostly. I want to try to fit all the login options to this drop in.
definitely will be doing some testing with this.
Looks really interesting, will definitely check it out. Iβm tired of hearing people say thereβs only one correct way to do things on Nostr. Fuck it, we ball.
the right way is the way that works for you. fuck 'em, we ball is right.
I tried sharing pubkey quest with a few niche game making communities and the whole key thing just threw them all off. We had a while discussion but what I took from it was normies are never gunna keep up with a key in the current times. We can give them one, they rely on legacy tech oligarchy until they don't want to anymore.
I'm building mill for ALL the options, usable in any web app.
oh and developers can pick and choose which options they want to deploy in the modal.
@Seth Letβs see if we can implement some of this into
@npub1xxdd...kt7a.
I'm looking at your current one and it looks pretty good. You have a few things like terms and privacy I can work with you on adding a configurable area on the modal to add stuff like that.
Or by all means add mill to your site and spin up Claude to contribute what you want. I'm open to contributions as always. As long as it is configurable and can slot into any web app I'm down.
BTW, and somewhat unrelated. Can you tell me more about what youβre doing on Liquid? I saw you mentioned Jan3 in your bio. In my day job, Iβve been building an open source project with my team that weβre hoping to get some people to test out soon and contribute ideas to.
I can't say too much right now but it has to to with simplicity language and covenants.
Totally down to test whatever if I have time.
Oh word. Yea I actually saw this the other day and was pretty exited to see it.
Hopefully I'll have something to add to the wallet in the future π aqua wallet first of course.
I just did my first USDt transfer from Apogee to Aqua today. Worked like a charm.
I was surprised nothing production-grade like this existed yet, and I needed it for a different project I was working on, so I set out to make it a real thing. Liquid is insanely underrated.
Oh hey
@npub1zmc6...7f60 nice to see you again! Excited to see more Simplicity stuff whenever you can share more
Marina wallet no longer around?
I'm excited to share more. But right now I feel like I'm right in the middle of designing a complex highway interchange system. Trying to link all the roads together.

The only GitHub update itβs had in the last 3 years was to remove its Chrome Store listing. Looks like abandonware.
Well good thing you're building. Extension wallet has been on my to do list also since none exist! But I don't have the time. I had an idea to call it hermes, extension wallet with Zeus functionality for lightning, ecash, liquid and main net all in one extension with swaps between them all built in. That's why it's called Hermes. Greek God of trade and balance. Also a nod to Zeus. But I'll never have time to build it.
There are no good lightning browser extensions either and I almost can't believe that.
I had the idea for a Liquid web wallet for a while but I wanted to nail some of the UX challenges with a Chrome extension first, so I ended up building
@npub1car0...f0dd. It has an NWC wallet onboard, and could be potentially expanded to other methods as long as they support NIP-57, since this is used for zaps over WebLN.

A Classy Nostr Signer β Sidecar
A NIP-07 Nostr signer with a built-in Lightning wallet, in your browser's side panel.
