Please use mill. If it's broken, contrib and fix! I think every option works... Mostly. I want to try to fit all the login options to this drop in.
I tried sharing pubkey quest with a few niche game making communities and the whole key thing just threw them all off. We had a while discussion but what I took from it was normies are never gunna keep up with a key in the current times. We can give them one, they rely on legacy tech oligarchy until they don't want to anymore.
oh and developers can pick and choose which options they want to deploy in the modal.
I'm looking at your current one and it looks pretty good. You have a few things like terms and privacy I can work with you on adding a configurable area on the modal to add stuff like that.
Or by all means add mill to your site and spin up Claude to contribute what you want. I'm open to contributions as always. As long as it is configurable and can slot into any web app I'm down.
BTW, and somewhat unrelated. Can you tell me more about what you’re doing on Liquid? I saw you mentioned Jan3 in your bio. In my day job, I’ve been building an open source project with my team that we’re hoping to get some people to test out soon and contribute ideas to.
I'm excited to share more. But right now I feel like I'm right in the middle of designing a complex highway interchange system. Trying to link all the roads together. image
Well good thing you're building. Extension wallet has been on my to do list also since none exist! But I don't have the time. I had an idea to call it hermes, extension wallet with Zeus functionality for lightning, ecash, liquid and main net all in one extension with swaps between them all built in. That's why it's called Hermes. Greek God of trade and balance. Also a nod to Zeus. But I'll never have time to build it. There are no good lightning browser extensions either and I almost can't believe that.
I had the idea for a Liquid web wallet for a while but I wanted to nail some of the UX challenges with a Chrome extension first, so I ended up building @npub1car0...f0dd. It has an NWC wallet onboard, and could be potentially expanded to other methods as long as they support NIP-57, since this is used for zaps over WebLN.
