@Laeserin 🇻🇦 a few things to notice on the newspaper. The whole land is called Palestine, even the jews called it like that according to the newspaper. A city called Jaffa is marked on the map, an arab city, nowdays tel aviv. The muslims, aka the turks, where guided by german officers according to the newspaper. 😀

All i know is that as long as shia muslims ruled the land there was no problem. That changed when souni muslims ruled the land. Also that the creation of the racist and terrorist state of Israel caused and is causing problems.

Yes, Palestine is the classical Greek name of the region, derived from the Philistines. Herodotus already called it that. The leadership constantly changed hands, over the centuries. Has nothing to do with Islam. Jews and Christians and Druze and atheists are Palestinians, if they are born in Palestine.

The only flaw in the logic is that it means that most people are occupiers, as either they or their ancestors moved to where they currently are from someplace else, and it usually upset the locals. So, being an occupier isn't actually that bad, seeing as it's a nearly universal trait. Which is basically where I'm at.

Where i am at, is that they have no exclusive right on that land because they are superior to others because god said so and that the others should be displaced and killed as they claim 🤮. And these tactics were acceptable in the old days. Palestinians themselves were occupiers there also 3000 years ago (they came there from Crete). But why should we accept such genocidal racist shit now?

Absolutely every people everywhere has some founding myth to explain why they are rightly where they are and why other people have less claim to the same territory. I have no idea why you think they'd be any exception. I thought we had already decided we weren't going to make exceptions for Israel, anymore?

Everyone occupying thinks they're special, because reasons, so it's okay. Otherwise, they wouldn't do it, as aggression is something humans feel a need to justify _to themselves_. And each side will claim that it's actually the other side being the aggressor. Because that's genuinely how they see it. All wars are territorial wars. There are always two groups of people, who arrived sooner or later, who would like to claim ownership of some particular piece of Magic Dirt. You're just showing surprise that such an advanced civilization _also_ displays this behavior, but it is universal human behavior. Only a people in decline lose this love of place, such as the despondent Europeans. They're entire peoples who hate themselves and therefore the place they are in. This place must be a crappy place, they say, because we are in it, and we are crappy. It's why wolves patrol around the perimeter. If you do not have a territory, you go get one. You control your territory or you lie down and die, whether as individual or a group. Israelis just showed the world that they are not willing to lie down and die. So did the Palestianians. They both understand: land is the apex property, not Bitcoin. As bad off as they both are, they at least don't hate themselves and haven't given up on reproduction. They could always be worse off. They could be us. Going the way of the dodo bird... homeland overrun... lying down to die.

You know why you are so interested in what happens to the Palestinians? It's because you are indifferent to what happens to the Greeks, but you still want to go through the motions of controlling some Magic Dirt. You do so by proxy. You have the same desires as everyone else, after all. That energy needs to go someplace. Germans and French had a long dispute about Alsace and Lorena. Serbians and Albanians still have a dispute about Kosovo etc etc. Should we accept French killing and starving German civilians and children or Germans doing the same to French to the point of extermination? Should we accept Serbians doing the same to Albanians or Albanians to the Serbians? No way. Well Israel says Germans were bad when they wanted to exterminate them, but they have a right to do the exact same thing to Palestinians because they are superior as the chosen people of god who promised them Palestine. Should we accept it? Of course not. Absolutely not. Is it only for land? We all know it is racism too 🤮. That's it...

Racism is also a territorial conflict. Nobody cares about races of isolated people _someplace else_. I am not the World Police, sorry. My country has allies and trading partners, but no friends, and Germany has enough problems without borrowing them from others. People slaughter each other, every day, and none of us even notice and we don't have the energy to care, even if we did. Pray earnestly for world peace and move on. We all just paid so much attention to this because the TV said we should. Now, it's on to the next game, while our own borders are STILL being overrun. Yeah i partly agree. But the genocide in Palestine is not just another territorial conflict or a far away one. Also if there will be greeks in Greece or germans in Germany, that would be our own fault. Not because of some racist scums. And yes i catched the war in Myanmar, i think i had two posts about it 😀
