Even among American English there's different dialects 🤷‍♀️ Once upon a time I got a Cambridge CELTA certificate. My students loved me but the British lady judging my work almost failed me because I was teaching the phonetic spelling incorrectly. I will never in my life forget the passive aggressive tone when she said that she only passed me when she realized that actually was how I talked. She hadn't heard anyone speak like me before (I had a HEAVY bmore accent before I got media training 🤣) AARON EARNED AN IRON URN GFY ENGLAND I DO WHAT I WANT WITH YOUR LANGUAGE!!!!!!!
