Luck, why not just epoxy that whole fucker and grind off the excess?

Its from the 1930s and belonged to my grand father. It was heavily used for fishing and hunting far north in the arctic sea. So its steeped in history I want to preserve. But yhea I guess that might be the end of it. Anyway I will give it a new life. π
I used a mixture of 2 component epoxy with a good amount of wood powder of the same color and consistent to fill the cracks. Don't overdue the quantity because the epoxy starts getting very low viscous for some minutes after activation. Cover all with a polyethylene foil until it's completely hardened. Later do a nice finish. But you might know this anyway.
