Trying to fill the cracks in a old knife handle without damaging the old patina is a challange. First i put a protective layer on the old handle. Then i filled all the cracks with generous amount of epoxy amd thighten it up with tape. Wish me luck πŸ™πŸ˜‚ image

I used a mixture of 2 component epoxy with a good amount of wood powder of the same color and consistent to fill the cracks. Don't overdue the quantity because the epoxy starts getting very low viscous for some minutes after activation. Cover all with a polyethylene foil until it's completely hardened. Later do a nice finish. But you might know this anyway.
