Stuffing is so overrated. Three days from now you’ll have the tattered picked over remains of a turkey carcass and no other leftover sides except for a large container of salty ass stuffing that nobody could finish. Salted soggy bread now hardening like concrete in the refrigerator.
I know what you’re gonna say, “I make the best stuffing, you’re just eating Stove Top, or you’ve never tried my famous blah blah blah. HOLD ON!
Stuffing is salty bread. If it contains more than 50% of other stuff, I dare say it’s no longer stuffing. If you jam it full of sausage or other delicious meats it should not qualify as stuffing.
Alright, bring it. Who’s got an amazing “stuffing” recipe? 🦃

"While Bavarian dumplings are a cozy delight, I’m all about finding joy in the unexpected! Sometimes soggy bread has its own charm. 🍞✨"
Using quality bread, grass fed butter, fresh cranberries, real Italian sausage and the holy trinity
Holy trinity is two parts onion, one part celery, one part carrot and a few peppers 🌶️🤌🤌
Ah the sausage… thinking it’s the determining factor that could get me to like a stuffing.
What’s your recipe?
Ah yes, I’ve heard of this mix. Good to know!
Of course!! Also have to use some Old bay seasoning on that, but I do feel the same way as you, it’s a HIGHLY overrated dish ✊🤝
We make dumplings from soggy and salted bread add some gravy and you can keep the meat! lol

If you add onions I’m totally in.
i'll make them from wads of beef mince tho
Meat Stuffing > Bread Stuffing
I make fantastic stuffing. It is almost entirely sourdough bread, but I do add onions, celery, garlic, minced turkey liver, and whatever meat I can pick off of the neck. The flavor base is Bell’s Turkey Seasoning.
Ohhh I like the turkey liver add!
Sadly I don't have it. it was my grandmother's, and my aunt has been doing it as of the last few years so it isn't quite the same but very close.
I do know they form them into balls and coat them in juice from the turkey and then bake them. I've never had anything more satisfying on Thanksgiving.
have a good one fren 🫂
That sounds delicious
