It's not about 'how many people' follows you. That is easily manipulated. It's about who follows you. Web of Trust.

ya this is so corrext. I don't like the followers list on nostr because it loads too slow. They need to fix it because the followers list is useful to find other users. They also need to charge 3 Satoshi in order to follow users that way it would filter bots, scammers and make the nostr followers list more organic.
