The lightning network is severely underrated.

no way for you to know which wallet i sent that zap from
few appreciate it
your wallet signs more than your transactions.
🎯
I'm surprised that after 8 hours your note does not have at least a few replies from the monero people saying how lightning privacy sucks
I have been running an LN node for almost 4 years, and still counting. Observation is simple, very few individuals (not orgs) can or will run LN nodes reliably or for extended periods. I’ve seen hundreds of nodes die and perish to never be seen again. If you are a capable person and have some cash to put in danger, join our ranks, be reckless

I gave up :( you’d think by now we’d have way better tooling but no…
bitcoin is not kyc’d, people are
lists of bitcoiners and our transaction history can never be undone
that said, using a lightning wallet can offer strong privacy benefits on a go forward basis
We have better tooling
where? do you have to enter some secret room to access it?
I run Eclair and posted a few times about it, it is mostly carefree
the fact that one has to know the difference is already a loss lol
you can't unsign the past. you can stop signing more of it.
It's lightyears ahead of the fiat payment rails.
