So your idea of real money relies on being able to trade it for dollars on a kyc exchange?
You can still trade monero for dollars, you do understand that right?
It's just no kyc.
As for buying drugs, that takes me back.
I remember when you could actually spend bitcoin like money.
Years ago, before bitcoin was captured, you could buy all sorts of drugs with it.
Now? Only thing you can buy with Bitcoin is gift cards.

Then you aren't paying attention. There are more than 20x transactions happening in BTC than Monero right now.
Idk mane. You can pay your bills with BTC through many services. Hell others you can sell into fiat to buy wtfe you need on the spot. Works well for me.
There are still these services though. I live in the US and there's at least 10 different providers you can get a visa card from that will let you sell into fiat to spend on the spot, CryptoCom for example. There's more businesses adding lightning services too. Hell Steak and Shake in the US lets you pay 100% in BTC.
Bitcoin also has 200x marketcap of Monero.
