I have two units, and both took quite a while to arrive. I believe I waited about two years for my first unit and another six months or so for the second. Both units were pre-orders, but were expected within 12 months originally. Shipping to Canada was expensive, especially since the units arrived in two separate shipments. The shipping cost for both was almost the same as buying a single unit. The air filters are also somewhat expensive to replace. You'll need roughly 3–4 filters per unit per year, with the cheapest option costing around $35 USD per filter. On the positive side, the units heat quite well, and the Heatbit app is very useful for monitoring the air quality around the unit. It tracks PM2.5, PM10, CO₂, and VOCs. You can also now choose which mining pool you want to use, which is a nice improvement from the original setup where there was only one default option. Customer service has been very good. They're always quick to respond when questions or issues come up. I haven't personally experienced any problems with the units, but I have contacted them a few times regarding filters, since there weren't any purchasing options available early on, and asked about sats rewards for early pre-orders.

Yes, primarily bought it for supplemental heat. We live at 8000 feet in the Wasatch and usually burn 6-7 cords of wood every winter. Last year we bought a Q rather than firewood. Only used 2 cords and ran the Q all winter in super mode. The wife actually enjoyed the light fan noise and we ended up running it November -April and a little in May on colder mornings. We're going to grab one more for this winter. It was so nice to not have to get up and start a fire. We didn't really pay attention to power usage because we have to pay for heat one way or another. I used the f2pool mining that came with it. Easy to setup. We mined 770k sats, burned less wood and had a happy wife and kids. Zero downside. A second one will make it downright nice, IMO.

Also, seems like more of a serious mining machine rather than an aesthetically pleasing looking heater. I wanted more bang for my buck.

I pre ordered in 2023, received my first unit in January 2025 and the second unit in January of this year. I do like the units. While they have a premium as compared to other options, I do think it is worth it, because they look a lot more sleek than competitors'.

I ordered an air purifier and while awaiting shipment literally today got informed their third party logistics subcontractor ShipMonk got hacked and personal details leaked. So, nice 🫠

I preordered a heat it mini in July 2023. By january 2025 I was fed up with delays, considering shipping started the previous August. So I cancelled the order and bought from another supplier. Triple the hash power, similar wattage and a great dump load for my solar.

I’ve got the OG one with 400 watts of miner and I bought the Maxi that’s supposed to show up someday 😂 they are late always. It’s a fine device and works as advertised, I leave it on in the shed during summer when solar is ripping. The Q is the bomb though! Runs quiet and that cryptocloaks exhaust adapter is sweet to channel the heat exhaust where ya want it. The Eco mode is like 800 ish watts, but does >50 TH (HeatBit 400 w = 10 TH)

At the time it was apparrently becuase they recalled the design and had to wait for new design to be built I think.

Yeah, it worked ok but I bought an early model so it was expensive and buggy. I made a couple hundred bucks over 4 winters. Newer models are probably better, and are much cheaper. Network hash rate is higher though. I say go for it.
