can you be more specific? which way is it more clunky. we are a pure nostr client, so we have to deal with protocol complexities. they are not a nostr client, so they can make many optimizations on their proprietary server (image caches, stats, follow counts, etc) we are in the process of switching to a "caching relay" within our client, so that should help a lot.
