Thinking of running my own node.
Do you or does anyone know:
I spend time between two different locations (6 months here 6 months there), do I need to take the node with me to each location?
Btw, in one location I have Wi-Fi to which I can connect an Ethernet cable, in the other location I can only connect via 4g Hotspot through my phone.

If you use Start9 and use something like Alby Hub, you can tor into your node into one location from the other. So long as you have internet in both continuously, you donโt need to schlep the device around with you.
Iโll add that using your phone can be tricky but if you use orbot or a browser that is tor compatible, itโs pretty straight forward. The important thing is to make sure you have access to the onion addresses for the server wherever you are, you could use a password/secure note organizer like nordpass or vault warden so you can access the addresses from wherever you are
