You get used to it, the cold activates certain parts of your brain which cause your head to shut off and go into survival mode. It can get quiet meditative to be out there. During the night we have -20°C sometimes, it's ok

idk if i could get used to it.. i highly doubt my ancestors ever went anywhere cold lmaooo you prob have an advantage there.. maybe not idk you to make that assumption but yeah, i can promise you rn that i will never willingly go somewhere that is negative Fahrenheit 💀💀💀 but it does sound really cool that it gets quiet meditative
Humans have the unique ability to adapt and survive in all sorts of climates and environments. Cold. Hot. We will fucking win. I'm sure you could do it if you had to.
Advantage yes but disadvantage in summer during the heat, we're around 1.500m altitute in the valley's which acts like a pot in summer, we get +35°C, that's when I'm melting and dying

We moved from FL to NH a few years ago, and I would never want to go back to that sweltering heat. The different seasons are so nice. Just my opinion though. To each their own.
