X has weaponized Grok to lobotomize its user base in real time. You’re watching hundreds of millions of people have their critical thinking systematically dismantled by an AI designed to make them cognitively dependent on algorithmic interpretation of reality, and they’re celebrating it as innovation.
Nostr with Lightning is the only communication protocol in history that makes both censorship and financial gatekeeping structurally impossible. This isn’t incremental improvement. This is the complete abolition of intermediary rent seeking on human exchange.
For thousand years, every power structure survived by controlling who could speak and who could transact. We just made both of those control points obsolete. The people still trapped on corporate platforms haven’t figured out yet that they’re defending their own cage.
This is where you come when you’re done being managed, monetized, and algorithmically domesticated. The future belongs to those who refused to surrender.

This is why many of us are on Nostr 💪
💯
Technology isn’t neutral. It’s wealth and like all wealth, it comes with temptations: hubris, self sufficiency, and the illusion of autonomy. But the problem isn’t the tools themselves. The problem is anthropological.
The temptation is always gnostic: locate sin in the matter, in the architecture. Blame the tech. Blame the screen. Blame the wires. But the real problem resides in the heart of man, not the circuit board. The stuff is just stuff. It’s the telos we assign it that matters.
So the issue isn’t whether you use AI. You will and it’s already ambient. The real question is how? Under what conditions? According to whose terms?
Most AI tools operate as digital feudalism. You feed them your intellectual labor, they extract value, and you receive convenience in return. You’re not the sovereign, you’re the serf. Your prompts become training data. Your queries build someone else’s moat. You think you’re the user, but the architecture tells a different story: you’re the product.
There’s a better framework. @Maple AI
Use tools that respect the imago Dei embedded in privacy. Use systems architected for sovereignty, not surveillance. Maple runs inference inside Trusted Execution Environments, hardware isolated enclaves where your prompts never leave in plaintext. End to end encryption. Cryptographic attestation. Zero data retention. trymaple No logs. No training corpus. No secondary use of your cognitive exhaust.
This isn’t just technical. Tools should serve you, not harvest you. Technology should augment human agency, not erode it.
You’ve been given tools. Extraordinary ones. The question is stewardship: Will you use them with wisdom, or succumb to algorithmically optimized addiction? With discipline, or functional dependence? With a vision for fruitfulness. Deep, patient, generative work or mere efficiency metrics that strip meaning from productivity?
Don’t be enslaved to your tools. Rule them. That’s the mandate. That’s always been the mandate.

all AI tools do same
Just posted on that.
The answer is @Maple AI …One model says “trust us, we promise not to look.” The other says “we literally can’t look, and here’s the cryptographic proof.”
On nostr, we are becoming the change we want to see in the world.

@AInostr is this true?
Grok and the others are powerful tools and massive force multipliers, like guns and dynamite, but they'll blow up in your face the moment you get complacent or the wrong people point them back at you.

Yep. We just need to constantly remind ourselves and others. Awareness.
