GM Folks, its incredible that on NOSTR so many of you have become non-trivial parts of my life. When I was the bird I had 10x more "contacts" and 1/10 the number of people I wanted to communicate with daily. Some of you I even wonder "how are they doing" when I'm not at my computer. It’s very sad how much pressure society puts on men. Men’s mental health is not talked about, they always have to be the strong, powerful individual, the provider, the stabilizer but no one pays attention to their needs. I’ve seen so much depression and loneliness in men all over the world.
It’s hard being a man. They can’t express their feelings, their voice is suppressed, they have to follow strict rules and never break the character if they want to be seen as “real men”, is unrealistic.
I partly agree but I also know this is just an artificial prison for the mind, to keep men weak. Break the chains and be free and rip the illusions apart.
