sorry I dont like to sugarcoat things.
But as soon as you said that I was lucky growing up, you completely misunderstood me which caused the reaction.
I grew up below the poverty line with hardened parents who escaped wars and terrorism, they slaved away their whole lives without knowing proper english just for the roof over our heads and food on the table.
Nothing about my childhood was lucky except that it made me more resilient in the long run. Most kids would have ended up on drugs, on the street, or insane asylums in my situation.

I meant lucky to not have been raised believing in the State, schools, and other tyrannical systems, and trusting them. It was kinda painful to have to unlearn and untie myself from all that in my 40s.
