At this point, I don't give a shit about scalability (since Bitcoin will never be used by the masses of NPCs), and I don't give a shit about Lightning.
Bitcoin needs to be ossified.

After the failure of BIP-110 in August, I hope the price recovers a bit.
Right now we're putting on a downright dreadful spectacle.
One should always be aware that Bitcoin can be broken, whereas the physical laws governing gold cannot be changed by developers.
But don't let the situation fool you: after August, we'll be left with no alternative to Core.
Although it depends on how you look at it—the alternative was probably the CIA as well.
In short, whatever happens, we're screwed. 😂

BIP110 will fail. Bitcoin will never be used onchain by the masses, but it *could* be used by the masses on a layer 2.
What’s your issue with lightning? It’s better now then what was promised In 2017
> Bitcoin needs to be ossified.
This is exactly what the CIA is hoping for. 🤦♂️
Lightning is great. It works wonderfully and I have zero clue why there's so much hate. That's not tongue and cheek I really don't understand the hate for it. The only thing I gather is that it doesn't do something it's not designed to do which doesn't make sense.
ossify it and let the chain nap. wake it up when someone actually needs it.
What new feature do you need in Bitcoin?
Every new feature you add is a potential attack vector, such as Taproot and SegWit…
I need a way to defend against attackers, an ossified chain is no good for that. For example, a hostile dev team makes a change to the reference implementation against the will of the network. An ossified chain would have no chance to do a move like BIP110 in this case and it becomes vulnerable to single point of failure attacks like Core 30.
BIP-110 is a flawed solution to problems like SegWit or Taproot that weren't even necessary.
If Bitcoin hadn't been modified, we wouldn't even have the spam problem, and we wouldn't need flawed solutions like BIP-110.
I still haven’t seen your not-flawed solution or anyone else’s for that matter.
There isn't one; it's better to stay put.
Any progress will be subject to the whims of three-letter agencies.
Changes to Bitcoin must be minimal; obviously, you shouldn't run Core 30 or Core 31—you have to run pre-RDTs Knots.
I see. You’re clueless on this subject. I promise not to engage further with you on it.
one day all the faggots bc1's will be rugged.
You'll understand everything in August 😂
