but i heard a rumor dwl has a scrolling patch which might be fun…

oh. dunno.
imo, as someone who never uses them, i find their animations arent unnecessary bling. they actually give context to how niri operates. which is new.
interesting.. ..the video on their github makes it look like it slows things down.. ..i'm spoiled by i3wm's dynamic workspaces and being able to instantly switch without any lag/delay, i have a very short attention span (ADD AF) 🤣
Why? I'd like to understand. I dig tiling, scrolling tiling seems like such a huge pain in the ass compared to just tiling.
