What pisses me off and puts me in a bad mood is people's fucking ignorance. Come on, clown, there are already precedents for this in other blockchains. We've seen AVs detecting the EICAR test pattern within blockchain databases/storage and isolating files, breaking the node until it resynchronizes.

Developers generally tend to have little knowledge of computer architecture and security. Obviously not all of them, but I have many years of experience working in the sector and I have seen horrible things that would make the baby Jesus cry 😂 .

i started out with troubleshooting which gave me a pretty good grounding in what an app should not do, and i learned about how these things happened. a lot of devs are very tunnel vision, they barely know anything outside of their field. being a polymath is quite important to being a good programmer, i think - since the job is about creating models that process information. without any practical experience at real world stuff you are not gonna be so great at modeling real world stuff.
