Yes. Amethyst has supported HLS video since it added streaming. It should be relatively simple for any app that has streaming to play these. I've asked utxo about Wisp and I'll keep hassling him πŸ˜‚ Afaik it's also supported by Nostrudel, mycelium from @Tekkadan πŸ“²πŸ„πŸŒ and @Karnage is adding it to his client Halo (maybe x21 too πŸ€”). For web apps it's fairly simple, there are already prebuilt players, as this is a web standard pioneered by Apple.
Just wondering if yakihonne could support HLS video playback. If you check the top note of this thread I have a sample. It provides adaptive bitrate with multiple streams that can be switched on the fly. Good to save users & hosts bandwidth, and let's users on slower links still view the content. The tool I'm building for uploads
