How harmful is Wi-Fi RF?
Not at all.
Dude doesn't know you can just turn wifi off in the router settings... Get wired bro
Sure, you reduce the power, but also will have spurious retransmissions of packets because of lower power, so all connections will be poor.
Also aside from turning it off, a lot of router/AP combos do support WiFi schedules, so that the radios can be disabled on a timer when you're sleeping.
If you don't want the radio rattling around, learn how to do some network cabling. :)
Wasting perfectly good aluminium foil.
This is the sort of science I like to trust. 🫡
Why not just switch off the router ! That seems easier than covering it with a tin foil !

Everyone is getting blasted with RF 24/7 what do you think is coming off all the cellphone towers, don’t worry about your WiFi.
Less harmful than the shit that starlink is blasting the entire earth with.
I for one have my BTC node plugged into the Ethernet slots of my router, as should every serious Nostr user :)
lol.... I am sure he does you obviously have never listened to him before. Its amusing today how people think they know everything about something from short little clips......
Lol, i love how this triggered you
Yes, that works.
Also what works : cut the wifi and use cables.
For android, you can usually use a usb-ethernet adapter.
More than an ethernet cable.
That one is a great use case .. totally agree on every nostrich running a node .. a solmn responsibility that I still need to get around (:-
... I tried bunch of times using Umbrel but they were more of trial runs .. need to sit down with command line one of these days ..
Start9 is better than Umbrel.
we did some zap tests on this note… we made six attempts to⚡zap this note, at michilis@azzamo.online, over a period of 9 minutes. six of the zaps were successfully paid... please check for 6 satoshis received. however, we did find that only two of the payments produced zap receipts in time for our server to recognize them. this is a problem because the user who zapped you would not see an active ⚡icon after zapping. they might think the zap failed, and therefore might not zap you again.... also fyi... your server at azzamo.online is responsible for creating your zap invoices, and we found that it responded slowly... invoice generation took an average of 2818ms (2.8 seconds). we consider this slow... generally, zap invoices should be created in under one second. also.... your average zap time was 10684ms (10.7 seconds). we consider this zap time slow... if possible, zaps should be confirmed in under two seconds. (if time is too slow, other nostr users might think your zaps are broken, might not zap you again.) if you wanted to fix this... you could try getting a free rizful lightning address --
... if u get it set up, pls reply here so we can do this ⚡zap test again.

Rizful: Lightning Services
Free Lightning vaults, and instant, disposable Lightning Nodes.
Thanks for the meaningless reply, I just love the simpletons who really have nothing to say but have to comment anyway just....just cause...
how about simply reducing signal strength in the router settings or using a cable altogether? 🤷
