This misses the mark entirely. Yeshua ("Jesus") taught us this principle: "Whatsoever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." There's a thinking substance that everything comes from—Spirit expressing itself through Divine Law. When you understand this, you realize your thought isn't just wandering around in your head. It's impressing itself on creative substance that responds to what you believe. I speak my word into the Law, knowing it is done. That's not pride. That's how creation works.
