The SFF NUC style systems are excellent for general work use.

Yes, I have quite a few of those, too, and recommend them for a number of use cases.
Intel NUC, HP EliteDesk and ProDesk minis, ThinkCentre Tiny and less so the Dell Optiplex minis - I don't like the tiny power connector on the Dell minis.
