Nothing wrong with that, they have a great self custodial product but having the biggest node on the network also puts a big target on their back. Doesn’t mean they should have made this decision .. It fucking sucks big time to reach out to the people you have recommended it to.
I'm just making assumptions. Why else would they pull from the states? Wouldn't having customers be in their best interests?

To be fair though, this is a fight the Americans have to do themselves. It's not up to foreign companies to resist and face prison to fight against laws the American people have voted for, and continue to vote for. It's entirely up to the American people to change their government themselves, and very cowardly of them to demand foreign companies fight a fight they're not willing to fight themselves. If Americans aren't going to stand up for themselves, wtf should anyone else? All these people abusing Phoenix, calling them cowards, why aren't they abusing their government? Is it because their government will do to them what they are doing to children protesting at universities if they dare complain?
I understand your perspective, however it's not quite so simple to just vote this problem away. There are significantly more steps involved than just voting.

Sure. Still, it's no one else's problem. All the abuse that Phoenix has received is absolutely wrong. Americans need to focus that anger where it belongs, with themselves for choosing the government they have.
Nothing Phoenix is doing is a crime. They folded with zero pressure. They will do it again in other countries sooner or later. Yes they can do what they want and I expect nobody to take a proverbial bullet for me, but I am free to say they are fucking cowards and fuck them for wasting the money I just spent a couple months ago setting up with them.
No but it costs money to set up and buy inbound and now I gotta start all over again and spend more money. Fuck them. What they gonna do when EU bans self-custody like has been openly discussed? Same thing. They have shown their true colors. How could they be trusted ever again?

So that's why the EU has to be reformed and the pirates party which is pro privacy needs more votes. Watching from the sideline and hoping for the best or to not care about politics has this result.
The problem is that the US operates under an imperial system that trumps international laws, jurisdictions and borders. You just saw this: the governments of Iceland and Portugal enforcing the orders of the US government for stuff that isn't even criminal.
Hmm it’s taken from 2 stores. 2 stores that have the market for nearly all mobile phone apps. Maybe that’s the problem? It’s not the only problem but having a duopoly for app developers is a bad model.
No, most ppl did not vote for this LMAO But it will be our fight
turns out everyone is under american rule if you need the dollar. even still id rather be outside the US borders to reduce the frequency and severity by which they can fuck with me and my loved ones.

And what will Phoenix do when they face similar pressures in the EU? Their recent actions do not inspire confidence.
This is the real problem, we personally can always find and alternative and are on top of things, but to on-board normies it get problematic in such unstable environment, no LN wallet is safe to on-board.
