honest question -- does deleting a Twitter/X account actually delete all posts and DMs made by that account?
No, it's a soft delete.
For those premium buttons are scaring them...

This reminds me of the time (2013) I was building HVSback, Facebackup (which was renamed to SocialBackup as Facebook reached out to me that I was violating their TOS with that name). Those were all apps part of a bigger project called Root:\ which was my graduation project in 2010 at the academy of arts.

I used something like this many years ago when I realized my "anon" twitter account was really KYC and I didn't want to be doxxed and canceled by some mini-totalitarian employee for speaking truth and working to heal the divide.

Man, these people want 36 a year for something that is pretty much the same and free: Wish was the guy was on nostr so i could tip him... but looks to be a mastadon user.
