I announced that my household will not purchase an Apple product or service. This is in support of privacy.
They forgot to mention HOW are they going to do that. Let me enlighten you: by demanding an ID or a credit card, completely deanonymising the phone owner. That's the most important part, intentionally left out.
Although not enough would likely give up their iPhones, the way to beat this would be to boycott their devices in large numbers. If they feel their bottom line being affected they would likely reverse course. Call it SpyPhone

Proud user of Gos here and proud parent too. I would love a privacy solution for my kids using more and more of tech as they grow up. Apple has a huge boulevard here because everyone wants to protect their children and no privacy focused solutions are nowhere to be found. I unfortunately dont have the experience to build it myself
