general human preference for sensual stimuli won't ever subside, it is part of our evolutionary nature. yet, given lower time preference under a hard money standard, we will be able to far better control our urges and addictions.

Why you mean lower time preference? With hard money time preference with be more given that today, assuming overall debt is lower. Since dept allows to choose how to spend time, even when I would not have the means to do so.
With hard money, I would be forced to work first and request after. So there is a clearer timepreference.
But maby I totally misunderstand the expression "lower time preference"
