We finally found something that makes sense. The original Satlantis vision was big...but too big. Content, places, maps, events, reviews, recommendations, etc Too much. We're cutting the product back by 90% and focusing on ONE thing. We're going to build the best events app in the world. Bitcoin-native, social for context (not content), calendars, community chat, etc. The foundations are already there. In fact, you can spin up an event today and run ticketing in Bitcoin. The app is close to Luma / Eventbrite in terms of feature completeness. You can log in as a normie, or with Nostr (soon with nostr:nprofile1qythwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnsv9ex2ar09e6x7amwqyv8wumn8ghj7urjv4kkjatd9ec8y6tdv9kzumn9wsqzq5edsvxllcyuz0n4azc5tjp9wx8uz2cqq0mp6c0fqamjr3llly7tksuz3y) This essay explains the pivot in more detail. Really hated trying to use Ticketmaster to get a pair for Trans Siberian Orchestra, for my daughter's Christmas gift. What a crummy experience, dealing with them. Would have been nice, and I would have preferred using Satlantis and paying with sats. I presume it won't be only for biycoin focused events... But, can just use biycoin to pay for many different events, if I understand correctly?
