Do any men find #journaling beneficial? Or is that a girly thing, or maybe something to improve your mental health?
I hear about it but can't find compelling reasons to do it.

I've only journaled in the context of prayer, for which it's been incredibly helpful, especially to look back on old prayer journals years later.
But as to journaling in general, plenty of famous men throughout history have, so it seems more to be a general human thing. A theory I happened across somewhere posited social media had taken the place of journaling via 'scratching the itch' that journaling is designed for. Which might have something to do with journaling falling out of widespread use.
Very interesting theory. Makes sense.
Funny you should mention prayer journals -- the few times I've journaled, it naturally turned into prayer. I'm no Saint Augustine, but it was almost like my "Confessions." I guess prayer journaling is the only kind that makes sense to me and my personality, my inclinations.
So maybe I'll start doing that. Probably using Obsidian and Veracrypt. 😄
