In every relationship; , social, professional - you’re in a feedback loop of moves and countermoves. If you reward disrespect, it increases. If you punish loyalty, it dies. If you stay silent when boundaries are crossed, the equilibrium tilts against you. The game always adjusts to the behavior you tolerate.

“The game always adjusts to the behavior you tolerate” Amen to that Ethics are key in that sense Plus the ability to just move on, and focus on what you’re building

Game theory applies in relationships as well. Regarding boundaries: Everytime you let your boundaries be crossed, the relationship suffers. (And sometimes it’s worth it)
Truth… I’m strong on these things professionally but not so in my love interests. Just reached the end of the line with my woman. Stayed silent on boundary crossings and had very little benefit from discussing disrespect so both have increased and intensified. Had to draw the line and close the door after 2 years of being all in.
