Maybe geo-caches could be sponsored by local business and/or funded by the likes of @npub1zhqc...h0dw or @npub10pen...n34f to drive adoption in specific geo-graphical areas. This could make the geo-caches self-funded as well as allowing for concentrated "Zap Mobs" (when prizes are boosted) around Bitcoin based businesses and/or events :-) Thoughts mapped out here: Would also be interesting to explore using CLINK rather than LNURLw (although I think spec would need to allow for open offers - not to specific nPubs). I explored doing this with seed words, along similar lines. I imagine that as prizes build, so would excitement around it. I'm curious to see where you take this.
Was a while ago I read the CLINK spec. My understanding was that you make offers to specific nPubs. For the geo-cache use case _any_ nPub that finds the geo-cache could claim the prize. NB There is a cooldown and maximum number of claims on the LNURLw.
Ah yes! I followed up with one of your compatriots, but I plan to update the map to highlight these (hopefully today) and allow for filtering by their client - thank you again for the update there! Any chance you'd be interested in noting Treasures (https://treasures.to) for the general NIP-GC/NIP-CC listings?
