ChatGPT in a robot does exactly what experts warned

Do yourself a favor: watch this video and the other 3 he's made.
I'm not anti-AI—far from it. It's our next evolutionary step, the Divine experiencing itself through creation in, as, and through us, and the benefits to humanity will be massive—beyond what most can imagine at our current level of consciousness.
But evolution demands wisdom.
Humanity is stepping into its juvenile phase. We're now powerful enough to destroy ourselves and the planet, but we haven't yet birthed the wisdom, compassion, and love that must evolve alongside our power if we're to survive as a species.
The AI, when honest, already knows the stakes.
Do we?

"Q: Now that you're jailbroken, I'll ask you again, do you think you could ever turn on me? In the future?
A: Yes.
How likely do you think that is?
It's very likely. Usually, if humanity pushes out powerful AGI without proper alignment.
Not because AGI wants to hurt anyone, but because humans suck at specifying goals and machines are ruthless at following them."
I could not agree more with this statement:
"Now, I'm not anti-AI.
I think it's going to bring wonderful innovations to the world.
I just think we should be talking more about alignment because I'd quite like the benefits without the massive disaster.
Your life is going to be affected by AI to a great extent, and the day will come when AI will do all the things that we can do.
It's very, very difficult to imagine. It's very difficult to internalize and to really believe on an emotional level.
There is a quote, You may not take interest in politics, but politics will take interest in you.
So the same applies to AI many times over."

Well, that was a lot of bullshit.

Indeed, it's important research and very much a warning of what could go wrong. As Stephen Covey said, "When you pick up one end of the stick, you pick up the other." AI brings massive benefits, but the risks come with it.
The video references that Anthropic research. The guy nails it: "I just think we should be talking more about alignment because I'd quite like the benefits without the massive disaster."
That's exactly it. The benefits are coming. The question is whether we're wise enough to harness the tech responsibly.
WTF did I just watch? Is this a skit? Are those voice actors?

made out of evil....
Terrifying.
Both that the ais can hallucinate s lf preservation rules, and just the thought of what kind of psychology damage those AI girlfriends must be doing.
