Divine Beta 1.0.5 Launches in @npub10r8x...t2p8 Bringing back Vine, on Nostr. We announced Divine back in November and got much more attention than we expected. The last 90 days have been a sprint to get the app production ready. We're launching first on Nostr's Zapstore because it's Nostr that made building Divine possible.

Yes, you can built it yourself, but right now it's in the full TestFlight. We wanted to do zapstore first because it helps us make sure we do Nostr right, we honor open systems and open appstores, etc...

They are fixing that error right now, I just happen to know. But otherwise that behavior is correct, the check is there to protect you. Please update to the latest Zapstore!

This has a real shot of brining over normies - vine was huge and with tik tok being censored to hell the people who like short form content will want somewhere to go. Cant wait to see where it go's

This was happening with proton VPN for a while. Once it flipped to a new version they seemed to fix and it works great. Its a solid security feature

How does Divine handle low bandwidth connections? TikTok and Reels are buttery smooth, but Divine is practically unusable on the same connection.

General impressions: Awesome app, but we desperately need better video compression options. 13+ Mb for 6 seconds is far too big for smooth playback on many connections.
