Elon Musk started PayPal and as a result of that and his first principles thinking, it is highly likely that he perfectly understands money. Similar to how it is highly likely Elizabeth Warren perfectly understands money. He also must understand that the natural state of the free market IS deflationary. If both of these are true - then he also must know (as one of the top AI + robotics companies) that he is stealing the productivity gains that should flow to society in the form of lower prices by pretending he is solving planetary issues through a broken system that makes them worse. In other words, Elon not advocating for #Bitcoin is not because he is stupid. It’s because he believes you are.

Elon is irrelevant, the future is truth based, Nostr + BTC
Elon owns a lot of Bitcoin at multiple of his companies... his lack of actively advocating for it is likely because he fears (or has been informed explicitly) that this would negatively impact getting regulatory approval for his rockets and products from our corrupt and regulatorially captured institutions.

And now he wants to involve himself in your dating life your money all your social interactions and now he wants even more data through an LLM that hides behind a facade of sarcastic wit from a fictional novel. I agree Elon is not stupid he is malicious and must be stopped.

Opting out... so you can opt in. ✅️
To make matters worse Tesla owns bitcoin and back when they were accepting bitcoin as a method of payment they were using BTCPayServer, which indicates the company and Elon know how to operate sovereignly in the Bitcoin ecosystem. The fact that zaps are not the standard on twitter really speaks volumes. He might not be evil, but he surely is no champion of freedom. Technoking? More like Fiatking
I’m not sure if Elon understands it. I haven’t seen any evidence of that. PayPal was founded by Peter Thiel and all the videos I’ve seen of Musk from that time, as well as all the accounts of people who worked with him, depict him more as a problem child who helped with financing. It wasn’t even called PayPal when Musk was a part of it, and much of his success during that period was him failing upwards during a massive .com bubble (in my opinion). Massive wealth outliers like Musk in a fiat world benefit a ton from their circumstances. Musk ran good enough grift companies to succeed massively in two bubbles, being the .com bubble and the electric vehicle bubble. The majority of his wealth comes from successfully rolling over money from the first bubble into the second one. He has made many common shitcoiner mistakes, like believing block times and throughput changes are “innovative changes which can scale blockchains”. His whole life is full of grifter moments. To me, Musk is a shitcoiner who succeeded in fiat grifting before real shitcoins even existed. He is not some kind of economic guru who is playing 4D chess with all of us and trying to keep people from understanding the true nature of our money. He just needs to grift hard enough to pump up a company by riding trends and influencing government policy, sell shares at the top, and then roll over the proceeds into another company and repeat the cycle. X.com ➡️ Tesla ➡️ Twitter
Yeah. I noticed that right after I sent it 😅 It's gonna be fun to see #Bitcoin and Bitcoiners just engulf his app. I wonder how long till he capitulates 🤔 In the end open protocols will win. Normies are getting orange pilled exponentially This time next year is going to be very interesting!

I don’t believe Lizzy Warren perfectly understands money. This is partially cope because I don’t want to accept we’ve allowed her malicious acting for this long.
Maybe he is just afraid of his stock taking a hit, as long as too many people believe that shitconier propaganda from Greenpeace.
Such a good manipulation. Free market does not have natural state because it is unnatural and completely artificial.
The point is, in average he is right. Never underestimate the stupidity of the average persons combined to a "society".
I have similar thoughts to it as my thoughts with Elon. If he really believes all these things, he would probably also see know that #Bitcoin is the only path because everything else would become centralized and corrupted as a result. When I see how much they have invested in shitcoins, it makes me question the sincerity of the message.
But also because they are (probably) surrounded by sycophants, and have a bunch of biased things going on, they forget these first principles. That is, I’m far less sure than you are that EM or EW are thinking from first principles. They’re doing mental gymnastics.

This. 👆 @Jeff Booth is one of the best people to follow. Period. And impossible not to like with his approach to sharing meaningful information.
Since I'm not a mindreader I prefer to keep some amount of uncertainty in regards to the inner workings of other people. I have deep concerns about the motivations of Elon due to his support for Doge coin (an obvious scam) and his wish to make Twitter into an everything app, with clear references to the Chinese WeChat surveillance and CBDC app. That's a very dark path to embark upon. On the flip side, I remember when it was popular to hate on Jack Dorsey for allowing Twitter censorship. While Jack had a deep responsibility in that situation it became obvious over time that he didn't see any winning move within the regulatory framework that Twitter operated, except for opting out and going full Bitcoin. Elon's deeper motivations in acquiring Twitter is likely aligned with its potential as a database feeding AI with weighted conversational data. The new Tesla AI Grok is accessing Twitter in real time. The obvious fallout of Elon's focus to make Twitter an everything app + a source of data for AI, is that it becomes a honeypot for government regulations. He cannot be unaware that governments will not allow Twitter to become some sort of alternate universe where their regulations cannot reach. Only decentralized tech like Bitcoin and Nostr can be successful in challenging the regulatory leviathans. It is not plausible that Elon will win against government regulations, even if we assumed that he had good intentions. The most favorable interpretation of Elon's endeavor would be that he believes that Twitter and Grok AI can play a useful role in allowing some modicum of free speech on a large platform. Yet, even such an interpretation would require asking the question: what happens when Twitter and Grok are fully regulatory captured? It seems likely that this would merely be a matter of time. At the end of the day, even under the most favorable interpretation, Elon is playing with dark forces of regulation. Following the advice of Tolkien; no man can be trusted in wielding the ring of power. The only liberty option is to decentralize power via Bitcoin and decentralized media like Nostr.

I think you're reading too much into it. I think Elon just thinks Doge is funnier. Elon should be selfish, of course, so should you. You come along and tell me you're altruistic I'm gonna think you're more of a Bankman-Fried. I never felt like Elon presented himself as an altruistic savior, always sounded to me like he wanted to do cool shit to make the future cool. Military contracts is a valid criticism.

just a reminder musk did'nt start anything till today. Evil fiend can't create. They corrupt creation. Just look at the wikipedia page its pretty clear. They was a lot of people behind cofinity--> paypal and X.com--->twitter? (even thiel is a fiend). People need to see musk for who he is he is just a bag holder.
Can’t disagree. However, two ways to attack the dollar fiat system #1 BTC. However #2 is attacking what backs the dollar ie Saudi Oil ie oil purchases in dollars. Tesla does #2. Have to give him credit for that at least imo.
Couldn't agree more with you. People need to think, SpaceX survival depends on US government acceptance and support.
He’s the most successful shitcoiner in history. Why would he topple his own shit tower while he’s at the apex. As the game changes he’s positioned for that. Normies will stack him corn on his platforms the moment his kind decide to. In the meantime the fiat system is dope for them
Elon admitted that his personal stash of bitcoin is a private matter
