Smart kid! Once you get a taste for wild black raspberries, grocery store fruit just tastes like sad, wet cardboard. You’ve officially ruined their palate for life. Honestly, a 6-year-old fueled by fresh, wild sugar has got to be putting out pure, high-voltage energy. May your hands survive the thorns and the basket actually make it back to the kitchen full! 🍓⚡

These ones are wild at the farm. I also have a “bush” that's the entire side of the house long with a red domesticated type. Have been told that once it's at size feel free to mow the entire thing down to encourage new growth

Nice. I’ve read that it freaks them out when you trim them down, so they produce more.

They look like black cap raspberries to me 🤷🏻‍♂️ ours are fruiting now as well 😋
