Building Omarchy Mobile in the open, and Nostr is part of the plan. I gotchu, my Nostriches <3
The base OS stays lean: Arch, Hyprland, Omarchy, a mainline kernel, no Android. On top of that I'll recommend a few optional add-ons that run on Nostr:
Peridot: carry your settings from your phone to your desktop and back, over Nostr relays you choose. No vendor cloud.
napps and napplets: Nostr-native apps and small apps that run inside other apps, as installable packages.
None of these ship in the main image. They're recommended extras: install them if you want them, skip them if you don't.
Want to follow along? I post @Omarchy Mobile blog updates here every day, and an Omarchy Mobile group chat on Armada / Concord is coming soon.

How do you keep mobile apps from sabotaging each other?
Does it run android apps? (Waydroid?)
I will follow. And when ready, I will use.
My plan is to add Waydroid at some point, yes. Once other things are more polished.
I think that's a key. To make zapstore and obtainium work, but I guess you can always reimplement those natively.
Fuck yeah
Interesting.
Omarchy mobile is beautiful!!!!
Please add my pixel 3a 🥺🥺🥺
I guess it will be Vibe-Coded as well?
How does this compare to graphine OS? If it’s better (it seems promising) I will get a pixel (8 -10) and start using once this is working!
