Well, actually it could help because your current NIP05 address is not resolving thus to little stop sign. The whole point of these things is to validate that you are the person that owns this pub key. But probably you would want to be associated with a domain that has some sort of reputation, and I can guarantee you my little domains don't, so. 😁👻
