@Beatbox Serenade mentioned the monetization issue on @Greeny 'a @SimplyNostr podcast that the thing that brought him here was monetization because YouTube was gatekeeping it from him. The "big zaps get people hooked" thing really works.

Yeah, nostr should be a lot more attractive to smaller content creators with the ease of monetisation. Trouble is its hard to find your audience on here, even if the people who would be interested in your content are already here.

I agree! The “rat race” for money; it exists everywhere - and the algorithm knows that, and exploits it in this context.
