So core 30 is extremely unpopular. It looks like not enough people are going to update to cause a problem. Even with the 10s of thousands of dollars they've spent spinning up new virtual nodes to run core 30 it's still a tiny minority of the network compared to core29 and knots. It won't cause a problem unless enough morons update to core 30, which looks less and less likely to happen. Everyone knows the risk
