Just did some reconnaissance on X (Twitter) for a few hours, and generally impressed with the overall quality of the software and user experience. Ignoring the fact that they have more content, I think discovering new content and overall experience is fairly good. Yes, you get to see a ton of Musk’s face, but if you ignore that it’s not bad at all. Also, why does every Nostr client trying so hard to kopy (copy) twitter interface? It is good, yes, but we can innovate and can afford to fail and redo it. Oh well, I’ll stfu and go back into my corner. I’ve already made enough enemies by speaking the truth, doesn’t help me with anything if I continue 😂🫡🍻

my nostr feed sucks, if it wasnt for nerds hanging out here id prob be long gone by now.
True, it’s full of the same propaganda about same thing forever 😂🤣
Imagine if Twitter and *early* Reddit had a baby. Notes feed plus censorship free subreddit style browsing would be top tier.
Why do so many look like twitter clines? It's like phones all look the same now, and cars, broadly speaking. Form follows function. We can add a twist, a unique piece here and rhere but ultimately, what works, works. On Plume I've chosen to focus as much as possible on the 'other stuff', so yeah, you search someone's profile and you'll see their feed, but you'll also see their photography, market place stuff, music, podcasts, short and long form video etc. I built it that way because I want a client that shows me all the things a person does. But the feed it still basically Twitter. It's just some extra buttons that mark it as different.
