Starting to suspect that this Pixel 9 is starting to throttle its terrible SoC and that it's not solely the apps fault. Gotta hold out until 2027 though when the next generation of Motorola devices supports GrapheneOS ootb.
Since I'm hating on Android apps already: Fuck this Ente shit app. They fix one thing and introduce new stupid behaviour.
Why would a photo library app need more than a few milliseconds to fully render a locally stored photo?
