🚨 THE SUITS ARE COMING 🚨 I used to be DEEP in the trenches of CT (Crypto Twitter) for YEARS as a toxic Bitcoin maxi analyst when the original #BlackRock Spot #Bitcoin ETF filing/prospectus dropped back in 2023. I remember reading this & thinking, "What the fuck are these guys even talking about?": 🤷‍♂️ image I thought that the suits were out of touch because at that point in time, we had left forks so FAR in the past that another one was not even a consideration for anyone in the space. Yet here we are in 2026, on the cusp of the #Core / #Knots #BIP110 fork war. 🫠 This is IMMENSELY concerning & I am in the middle of writing a think piece that isn't ready for publication yet, but in the next few days I will be addressing all this shit in a very comprehensive manner. 💁‍♂️ I have direct experiences & historical insights that most people on #Nostr who haven't been in the #BTC space for as long as I have need to be aware of in order to make informed decisions about what I believe is coming down the pipeline. 👀 We can win this, but it requires action; stay tuned. 🤙 ========== Verify for yourself (PDF link - Page 30): View quoted note →

Always through the “use its discretion” about which fork was the real bitcoin. Always left a very unpleasant taste when you’re handing over your keys to a third party. When the plebs market dump their fedcoin, it could get nasty, but also, don’t go revealing your whole stack to an exchange.

It is concerning but it's because different people are trying to twist Bitcoin into their needs. We should do the opposite and try to discover what Bitcoin actually is.
Jimmy’s article was pretty interesting with how a chain split could work out with his fees on a lower hash rate chain motivating miners to move their hash over, but also service agreements stopping many miners moving. Finding an exchange that list a fork will be interesting, so unless it can be done minimal kyc, dumping coins could be the carrot that gets a lot of less careful people (than yourself) that doxx their whole stack. Hoping liquid will do something, lots of money to be made by exchanges will get a lot of people interested.
Bitcoin's code has always been open-source, but the changes made to it over time have not been. 🤷‍♂️ I'm running #Knots & #BIP110 to respect Satoshi's original protocol architecture. 💁‍♂️ If it fails, then it fails. 🤙 View article →
