#Nostr hasn’t devolved intro hatred & spam but rather close-knit new communities of people lifting each other up, sharing thoughtful ideas, building, seeking truth, speaking truth to malignant state & corporate power, solving problems, networking, transacting, but mostly just having fun human interactions.
Directionally the #Nostr network now is the type of internet & society feel I want to spend time with. I feel it always could have been like this.

Yes, you can truly curate a feed that you care to read instead of being spammed by Twitter's algo. I feel refreshed on Nostr and drained if I use Twitter.

I love this sentiment. How do you propose that things can/will stay the same once more and more people show up? People who have agendas, beliefs, etc that may conflict with others? Would love to figure out how to keep civility and positivity alive on Nostr!
open discourse, hope there will always be a majority of people who are well intentioned and want to engage in good faith in an open communication system. will be interested to see how implementation of different algorithms effects this
