Iβm always excited for Thanksgiving because itβs that time of year where my wife and I get to make delicious vegan dishes, mimicking traditional Thanksgiving favorites, and family are like omg this is actually so good π

Kenji Lopez-Alt has a lot of these types of recipes, I bet youβve made those!
Are you guys vegan or is this a thanksgiving thing?
Vegan for 6 years now
Do you have any favorite recipes you make every year? I have a bunch in the rotation but not many that I love enough to do repeatedly. Iβm mainly looking for the kinds of dishes I can bring to holiday parties. I usually do a homemade focaccia + a snacking plate with dips, veggies, grape leaves, olives, etc.
Omg yes. I mean the green bean casserole we make is so good, so thereβs that. I make really good homemade gravy, mashed potatoes, mashed butternut squashed. All those types of fixins that may even pass the test for my southern family in Virginia π
π€© I would love the green bean casserole recipe if itβs not a family secret!!
Well I do believe in the open source movement! Super easy to make

The vegan section at the Thanksgiving table always gets eaten first, in my experience, because itβs so good! That has been my experience for the last 10 years. I love Thanksgiving food, but Iβve been vegan for a decade now and Iβm really good at making Thanksgiving food. Delicious!
