Here are some clips from our conversation earlier today. We dove into all sorts of different topics related to philosophy, bitcoin, economics and more. Thoroughly enjoyed our conversation this afternoon with @Contra @AndersL and @Sourcenode We have never met, yet all use Bitcoin and Nostr so we figured it's time for us to stream and talk about things. The protocol means nothing if we don't use it. Working on snipping some clips and compressing them, I'll share later. Looking forward to the next one, hopefully with better audio and connection. You can just live stream to Nostr. You don't need to be an influencer, or expert or anything. We are literally random guys just chatting about whatever we think of.

Due to bitcoin podcasts and live streams becoming too centralized, 3 of us Npubs have decided to give our own live stream a shot tomorrow 11/25/25 at 12pm EST. Meet me @Contra and @AndersL as we get to know each other more and attempt to spread the word about Bitcoin and Nostr. If anything you will see us work through technical difficulties as we are in different time zones trying to stream live on a protocol that can't be stopped. Nostr Group Call #1

First call to figure things out.

Good evening Nostr. I decided to try to livestream on my own and rant about Bitcoin during this dip. It is a great time to buy, you know this. I work through an example showing how much more your stack can grow with prices this low with your same DCA strategy. I hope to do more of these streams, actually on Nostr in the near future, and hope that some Npubs will join in for that. I much more enjoy hearing from regular folks on Nostr with real lives instead of the Bitfluencers you see feeding algorithms with BS content. This is a long rip and very choppy, I apologize but I want to start somewhere. If you listen, even for a moment, I appreciate it. I value even more your feedback and participation in the future if there's interest.

There is opportunity sitting right in front of all of us right now. Dips like this completely change the calculus in how much corn you can get your hands on. Keep your DCA going, deploy any excess fiat you can find. It may never be this easy again.

Talk me into my next BTC miner. I currently have a Bitaxe gamma solo mining 24/7. Call it my last degenerate behavior lingering from my fiat past, or contributing to the decentralized hash rate. For the next one I would like to serve a higher purpose. I would use it to pool mine with @OCEAN and the proceeds from it I intend to stack in non-KYC cold storage. Reasons being, having to jump ship privately or potential pass down to future generations. Currently I'm looking at a NerdQaxe++ and Canaan Avalon 3S. Both have 6TH/S hash rate at a similar price point. The key difference for me is that I'm familiar with the Bitaxe OS and it will integrate easily with my current miner. The Canaan has its own interface, but has the additional benefit of acting as a small space heater which I could use. Based on this, what would you choose? Do you mine?

@strike is back up for me. This cloudflare outage has been a learning experience and I’m happy for it. I use Strike as my hot wallet and exchange of choice but this has shown that it pays to diversify. Of course L1 was fine but I rather not spend from cold storage. So having an alternate exchange and hot wallet makes a lot of sense if you still want to be able to make spot buys and spend in BTC on L2.

I want to stay in this scene for eternity. Outside on a breezy 60F fall day after doing chores to get ready for winter. The wife is inside baking while the 2 youngest nap. I’m outside with the oldest pushing him higher and higher on his swing while our GSD watches on. There is nothing in the world that would make me want to move from this moment. I’m grateful to have overcome the modern nihilism that plagues society, mostly due to fiat. If they could just dig a little deeper, they would find the answer right in front of them. @HODL is right. Having kids is the most important thing you can do with your life. Have kids, in fact have one more than what you are comfortable with. There is no higher achievement.

Is “stay humble, stack sats” the Bitcoin equivalent of Dave Ramsey’s get out of debt baby steps? I feel the premise is the same, produce more than you consume and save the difference. The problem is he’s a boomer shilling mutual funds and paying off low interest debt. Which normies buy into as the safe way to manage their money, but they will be sorely disappointed when inflation devastates their life savings. I feel the apex personal financial steps now are: 1. No high interest consumer debt. 2. No Auto Loans. 3. Low interest long term mortgage on primary residence, or renting. 4. Saving all excess above expenses in BTC for long term. 5. Find your craft that provides value and purpose to your life. That’s literally it. Do this and you will be smoking all the “analysts” and finance influencers. Am I wrong here? GM Nostr. Cheap corn day 🌽💸🪦 I used to waste energy on thoughts like “End the Fed” but we don’t even need to at this point. We have our own rails now and there’s no need for fiat. What a great world to live in! We enjoy freedom of speech on Nostr. We get to store our energy indefinitely without dilution by some suit in DC hiding behind a monopoly on violence. The way I see it, we’ve never had more power as free individuals.
