“A word fitly spoken is like apples in a setting of silver. Like a gold ring or an ornament of gold is a wise reproved to a listening ear. Trusting in a treacherous man in time of trouble is like a bad tooth or a foot that slips. If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat, and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink, for you will heap burning coals on his head. Like a muddied spring or a polluted fountain is a righteous man who gives way before the wicked” Proverbs 25: 11, 19, 21, 26 ESV image

Anyone remember these? I imagine many here have never seen a “slide show”. 😂😂😂 This used to be high tech. So when you complain we’re not doing this or that, or it has to be this way or that, remember your perspective. image

“My son, eat honey, for it is good, and the drippings of the honeycomb are sweet to your taste. Know that wisdom is such to your soul; if you find it, there will be a future, and your hope will not be cut off.” Proverbs 24: 13-14 ESV

“A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, loving favor rather than silver or gold. The rich and the poor have this in common, the Lord is the maker of them all… Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22: 1-2, 6

“Better is a poor person that walks in his integrity than one who is crooked in speech and is a fool. Desire without knowledge is not good, and whoever makes haste with his feet misses his way.” “Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.” Proverbs 19:1-2,17 ESV

Once in a great while I get a really good idea. It’s rare enough that I’d come up with something this good. And then… I wake up at 3am thinking about it… and realize that this idea needs to be patented here in the US, soon. That’s the time frame I’m in at the moment. So if you know of a decent to excellent person who happens to be an intellectual property attorney please reach out. My experience of attorneys is not generally great so I’m praying to be pleasantly surprised. It’s in this nostr sphere of social media that I believe is more authentic than previous goes at it, I submit this request. Much appreciation for a referral to someone who can help with this. #asknostr #intellectualproperty #bitcoinmining @Bitcoinium @Jor @Anarko @Paul Saladino MD @primal @jimmysong and thank you Jimmy Song without whom I would have never found nostr, or at least as soon as I did. 🙏

“internet money” “magic internet money” Do we stop and think about these phrases that are tossed around? One of my new favorite phrases is to ask my future bitcoiner friends: “Do you use the internet?” Following up with, “well then you’re going to want to know about internet money.” It’s so simple. But I think most can’t see it because it’s bigger than anything we’re used to. It’s the elephant that isn’t in the room, it IS the room and it’s eating everything. #education #bitcoin #8satoshis

In listening to content providers of all stripes and years of experience I observe a few things that provide insight into who they really are and if they deserve my attention. 1) the longer they go the easier it is to see what motivates them and what their intention and agenda is. It’s easy to see through facades when one looks closer. 2) the nature of Nostr and Bitcoin’s decentralization seems to be fueling more authenticity. This could be sad: many have, with bitterness, given up any hope of truth, in any form. Jaded outlook, sarcasm and burnout is very real. I’ve seen it and lived it in another industry. Has it affected you? It doesn’t have to be this way. 3) but I couldn’t leave it there. If we stay stuck in the fiat brokenness of the past how will we ever land in the present? Today, right now? Are you here yet? Need a cold plunge? Are you awake? Now is the time to be awake. It’s bigger than Bitcoin and Nostr (though that is beyond frickin’ huge). 4) Love wins. Every time. And it wins the war, not the battles. So leave the happy to those who like to “be happy”. Find the joy. True joy is there, near you, not far away. How is love showing up for you today? Grace and peace to you my Nostr frens

(1) Homeschooling your children is really everything you do together. Every word that comes from your mouth and every action you do or don’t take, says volumes to your precious little ones. My biggest challenge now is to get across my understanding of Bitcoin. I had another one of those conversations today. Not perfected yet but I’m working on it 😂 Q: Is there a way to view bitcoin as biblical money

Thankful for my family. We’re not perfect by any measure, but the love is thick and wide. My wife serves us every day and I am thankful for her. Our kids are amazing in very unique ways. But the greatest thing is being personally related, and actively knowing Jesus. Being loved by Jesus is the sweetest, and they know it. (Butterfly pic for effect, beautiful though isn’t it?) #jesus #trainthemup #grace #love image

I was a single guy for long enough, enjoyed a lot of things. Now with a family, I ask you, is there anything better than being in the kitchen with family, listening to great music of the 70s while cooking: me making family recipe apple pie, teaching my 11y/o about the fine art of pie crust done well. It doesnt last forever and it doesn’t get better than today. #family #love #homeschool
