Parents know, kids need guidance, and when they find themselves in trouble, look for the lesson, the teaching moment. Tonight was one of those: accountability. When the question gets asked “where were you?”, an honest answer is expected. When that isn’t the case, what’s a parent to do? Turn the other cheek, scroll past and say “don’t do that again?” We reap what we sow, and character is built one day at a time. Today we begin building trust again at the base layer with one of our youngers, teaching self-discipline, honesty and speaking the truth. It never gets old and we continue to be tested by them, no matter the age. 😊 #homeschool Oh yes, the last verse is Proverbs 12:17 image

Good morning nostr friends. ☀️❤️☕️❤️ Selected verses from Proverbs 22 “But You, O Lord, do not be far from Me; O My Strength, hasten to help Me! Deliver Me from the sword, My precious life from the power of the dog. Save Me from the lion’s mouth And from the horns of the wild oxen! You have answered Me. I will declare Your name to My brethren; In the midst of the assembly I will praise You. You who fear the Lord, praise Him! All you descendants of Jacob, glorify Him, And fear Him, all you offspring of Israel!” ‭‭ Psalms‬ ‭22‬:‭19‬-‭23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ image

GM my fellow Bitcoining nostriches! Time for a short lesson in how to navigate the fiat landscape of healthcare (at least in the US) A family member in another part of the US is undergoing an emergent and very painful experience. Here are the key takeaways for all you non-EMS or healthcare workers. 1. Go to the best place for healthcare in your area. Not the closest place, the best place. Don’t get cute, get to the best care and KISS. You are not a PIA and they’re paid to take care of truly ill patients. Booboos may be a different story, closest or your preference. 2. Guys especially, your toughness is not based on how much pain you can tolerate. Be smart and get some good health care immediately. 3. Your pain is yours, we can’t understand unless you speak up. And only you can rate your pain on a 1-10 scale. Think about that. This goes for mental health as well. 4. You are not a diagnosis, a label or a mistake. You are wonderfully and amazingly created. If anyone degrades you, judges you or abuses you… You need to be a safe distance from and find some appropriate help. They need help. This can get very sticky so maintain healthy boundaries. This is written in love. I hope it’s received that way. Have a good and blessed day with your loved ones. ☀️☕️

Want to know what comes from entrepreneur-minded homeschooled young ladies who can just. do. stuff? Here is some handcrafted blush. Ingredients are mica powder, cocoa powder, shea butter, rose hip oil, beeswax and Vitamin E oil. Is that just cool or what? She tells me it’s hard to find non-toxic blush and when you can it’s $40-50 fiat cuckbucks for 2oz. Ladies, could you weigh in on this? What’s your experience in this department?

Ok, seems I’ve been on some sort of mission with this topic of homeschooling. This time, value for you all in the trenches with your youngers. The topic today: Homeschooling libraries. Not discussed here but still a business opportunity is that communities need these. Yes, many of your communities may not have something like this available for the abundant number of individual families and homeschool co-op member families that need good solid books to help school their kids in all the various and sundry topics. Today’s exhibit A of what I mean by homeschool library is this small business: https://www.livingbookslibrary.com/the-library/ We used to attend church with this family and I learned a TON about some incredible books I had never knew existed, how portly I was educated as a young person (which convicted me even more to homeschool our children). But it wasn’t just a library of books. The owners are a mother/daughter team. They were SO organized and had book bins by topical areas as well as the normal library. (The video tour in this link will whet your appetite for what how well a library can be done). So if you were studying science for 3rd grade for example you could check out a bin on Bugs. There were rules and a scheduled day you had to be there to return/check out new books. Overall the experience was very good and we read books that are no longer in print and had been hard for the owners to find over a period of many years. Our kids loved library day. Today, we need more homeschoolers to understand what libraries can bring to benefit kids. No evolutionary curriculum for me. No indoctrination material. Just good and wholesome reading and pictures in books written sometimes quite a while ago. There is a real need for this in your communities my nostr friends. Get off zero and LG!

I’d like to know what the percentage of bitcoiners that are homeschooling, either parents or kids. I’m thinkin it’s a lot. But seriously, as a country, can yall just start making lots of babies please? My window has closed and we have six. I have many stories. But yall younger folks… Don’t believe the lie that you can’t afford to have “that many” kids. And pour into those little people. It’s a proof of work like no other.
