Recent trip to the range and witnessed someone shooting with kestrel a garmin chrono range finder and an app on his phone. Now i knew what the purpose for each one was but i wondered were these tools or crutches. Reading wind, understanding ballistics and fundamentals of marksmanship are skills that you have to develop but now i see Applied ballistics and "pay to play" shooters. Take the tools away can you still get on paper and zero the rifle? As we develop technology dont forget to learn how to function without it. #gunstr

Was able to take a tour of The American Can Company Building in Eastport, ME. Erected in 1908 as a can manufacturing facility and was instrumental in the roll top can design used in tinned fish. image image The building has since been left to rot while being listed on the National Historic Register. There is a 2" layer of pigeon seagull and rat shit mixed with seawater and feathers. Definitely do not recommend breathing deeply. image image Anyone looking to go halfsies on restoration and opening an artisanal sardine company? Step 1 is build a coffer damn, pump out water and repair the 139 concrete piers after 113 years of erosion and a 26' tidal difference twice a day. image image Fun fact the last sardine cannery in the USA closed in 2010. #history #maine #dreams #bitcoin #america

Fun trip and great views to Maine. If there was a poster child for communities that could greatly benefit from hard money this area is it. Small local owned shops, close communities and not a franchise or chain store in sight. The 100 year old woman I rented a room from at the B&B accepted check cash or travelers checks image #bitcoin #travel #maine

Going through TSA and they acted like I insulted their mother when I declined to be photographed at security. Fuck that, they can scan my I'd and boarding pass the old way. #traveling #privacy

Step 1: revive dead industry Step 2: convince locals to accept dead industries rebirth and not turn historic building into "transient hotel" and event space for telecommuting... Step 3: copy model used by Conservas Pinhais #plans nostr:nevent1qvzqqqqqqypzqmssnrpqukzcv6uf4rjtz54cwsjr6tzjf2z4tanwdeflv0jleaexqy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyv9kh2uewd9hj7qgawaehxw309ahx7um5wghxy6t5vdhkjmn9wgh8xmmrd9skctcqyr85us53d9g2fn9pes08d26fta2u9ft4nhrxg7tpuqucg5emwgc3g4kpfex

My new dream (hyper fixation) of the week is to move to maine and open a sardine cannery on a bitcoin standard using artisanal methods. Why artisanal? Due to annual catch limits decreasing and to maintain a quality product hand packed cans would only allow so many versus an automated factory designed for 100k cans/day. A sustainable quota allows for rrgular working hours and not being able to purchase from fishermen. #bitcoin #business #dreams
