the 6-speaker system on my flagship ASUS ROG Zephyrus DUO laptop is so good i am watching Chinese lessons and i don't even feel the need to grab the headphones now obviously you're not going to get dance club bass out of a laptop but the fact that speech is loud, crips and clean enough to study a foreign language from just the speakers in the laptop is impressive you aren't going to get sound like this from a work oriented laptop or a budget gaming laptop only flagship level gaming laptop from a brand like ASUS sounds like this i sometimes wonder why i paid $4,000 for an ASUS laptop when i was able to get an Alienware for my parents for $1,500 that is basically just as fast ? the better GPU may be able to explain about $500 worth of price difference and cast magnesium body maybe another $500 or so but that still leaves about $1,500 worth of price difference unaccounted for ... and it comes down to screen and speakers. the Mini-LED screen on the ASUS is so bright i have to keep at the lowest setting to avoid going blind and the 6-speaker sound system is so good you always hear everything you need to hear without having to use headphones ( except jamming to music of course - you still need headphones for that ) now you're probably thinking - why not just plug in external display and speakers ? well sure you can do that. but it will be a desktop at that point. the point of laptop is portability. if you just want core performance though Alienware is the way to go. i don't know why they refuse to offer high end screen options like OLED or Mini-LED. if Alienware offered a MINI-LED screen i would have gone that way and just used headphones. you just don't get the same color when watching porn on Alienware screen as on ASUS screen. a dim edge-lit display simply can't match MINI-LED color volume, punch and realism. looking forward to RGB Mini-LED tech in a form of a 8K Samsung. i am afraid after my Sony went belly at just 2.5 years old i will never buy another Sony. it also had a lot of other problems. Samsung had problems too but ultimately it was less fucked than the Sony. i got the Sony because Consumer Reports said it was the most reliable brand of TVs and maybe it was in the past, and the build quality of the Sony seemed better than Samsung but in the end it self destructed from the inside and the bomb proof 100 pound chassis couldn't do anything to save it from itself. the solution ultimately is to pay for good installers that aren't going to fold the wafer thing Samsung in half on installation like my retarded delivery guys did. i believe it was Costco delivery guys for the Samsung. after i watched like 50 movies on it Costco took it back and gave a full refund. but that just set me up for the bigger fail with the Sony that replaced the Samsung and died just out of warranty. it seems the solution is Samsung but with White Glove Delivery.

i don't know what kind of crackhead designed YoYo Chinese program but it is surprisingly enjoyable like Babbel for Spanish you have to understand that Spanish and Chinese require different approaches to learning so there isn't a single program that is best for both rather than looking for a single program like Rosetta Stone or Pimsleur that has ALL the languages but isn't the best at any one of them - pick the best program for each language Spanish and Chinese are both HUGE so there has to be at least one excellent program for each - the free market makes sure of that smaller languages like Dutch you will probably only find on a system like Rosetta Stone or Pimsleur that is designed from the outset to cover as many languages as possible but for Chinese in particular you should expect that the best program will be one that covers ONLY Chinese and the best program for Spanish is one that covers a handful of similar languages
