rain in Orlando is very different from rain in NY / NJ
in NY / NJ you get this gloomy weather and a light drizzle that lasts for days ...
in Orlando suddenly on a bright sunny day the sky breaks and water starts pouring down as if from a broken fire hydrant - completely overwhelming any kind of gutters your roof has within seconds dumping more water within minutes than California gets in their entire summer ... then just as abruptly it ends and the sun is back out minutes later
this happens on roughly HALF of all days in summer in Orlando and usually it is accompanied by thunderstorms

i measure it in gallons because i use a 20 gallon Rubbermaid Brute bin with a 40 gallon bag inside to collect it - but i don't fill it to the top so i count it as 15 gallons per bucket / bag and it was 10 bags this week
